Description

This faint SNR in Cassiopeia is a real treat to image.  It is about 10,000 light years away, and the nebula was about that old when it broadcast the photons we're now receiving.  As in many other supernova remnants, oxygen seems to be out-pacing hydrogen as they both race away from the point of origin at  speeds approaching 1000 km per second.  This is an HOO rendition.
